Lateralization

Crafted by steel and welded metal, this piece is a narration on the idea of lateralization human brains contain. It also comments on the switch that a left-handed person must endure everyday when they "switch" and do things that are meant for a right-handed person. The brain sits on a plane of urban, rusted wood, and when the two halves meet, a small light bulb lights up, which invites a conversation of lateralization in the brain, between different handed people and between the function and design of the brain itself.
