Subjective Resonance Imaging: an International Brain/Art Gallery Show at HBM 2013

We're excited to announce that the full lineup is confirmed for the gallery show we'll be presenting next month in Seattle in conjunction with the 2013 Human Brain Mapping conference, entitled Subjective Resonance Imaging. The conference organizers have graciously given us a large area in the center of the lobby to present the artwork, which will be arriving from twelve artists around the world, all of whom explore brain-related images, concepts, or mechanisms through their multimedia art. The show will feature a site-specific installation by Elizabeth Jameson, paintings by Katherine Sherwood, Constance Jacobson, and new work from Greg Dunn, sculpture by Julia Buntaine and Katherine Dowson, and video pieces by Andrew Carnie and the team behind NEURODOME.

Be sure to check out the show catalogue as well, which will feature introductory essays, in-depth interviews with several thought leaders on current issues in the dialogue between neuroscience and art, as well as images and artist information for all the art we'll be presenting. And if you haven't already done so, consider supporting this endeavor via our Indiegogo page, where you can receive the show catalogue and many other goodies in return for supporting this experiment in art and neuroscience.
