Unraveling connectomes

Brains of different species may have different shapes and sizes, but they all comprise massive networks of wires and neural interactions. We call these networks 'connectomes'. And without unraveling the underlying architecture of these networks, connectomes would just remain spaghetti... Ones without those tasty meatballs...
