Mark your calendars for Brainhack 2013, which will be held from October 23rd-25th, 2013, at the Seminar Center of the Centre international d’études pédagogiques just outside Paris. More information about the Unconference and Hackathon will be available soon, as well as registration details. For further information on Brainhack and the 2012 Unconference, check out: www.brainhack.org The challenge of Brainhack 2013 will be to integrate multiscale knowledge about brain function ranging across gene expression, anatomical connections, intrinsic as well as cognitive networks, and information about the degeneration observed in neurological and psychiatric disorders. Students, postdocs, engineers, clinicians, teachers and researchers from different disciplines (e.g., mathematics, computer science, engineering, neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, neurology, medicine, genetics, art, etc…) are encouraged to participate. The main motivation is the desire to work closely with researchers across various fields to collaborate around questions that are beyond the expertise of a single discipline.
